Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park offers a showcase of native Florida wildlife and endangered species. Nature trails winding throughout the park encourage nature study and give visitors a chance to experience wetlands and hydric hammock environments.
Most of the birds and animals living at Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park could not survive in the wild, and the park provides them with as natural a habitat and diet as possible.
